Registrations for the 5th edition of Heading SouthWest are open. HSW'26 will be held between 6-12 June 2026. Briefing Session on Saturday 6th June (afternoon) and departure on Sunday 7th June (morning). The registration has a 'first come, first served' approach and it will remain open until the number of available spots is reached. This online form includes personal details and a few questions that will help us understand your motivation. In pair category each rider must register individually.

Q1) What is your motivation for taking part in Heading SouthWest? (you can answer in Portuguese or in English) *

I confirm that I have read the MANIFESTO and I agree with the principles, namely leave no trace, respect the local traffic rules and local communities, ride the route, self-supported approach, no drafting, no e-bike, no-doping. *
I confirm that I have read - carefully - the GUIDELINES, which explores and details the topics of the MANIFESTO of the event. *
I am aware that 'Heading SouthWest' (both routes) is an event and that if I see it as a race/competition it is my own perspective/responsability. *
I am aware that 'Heading SouthWest' is an extreme emotional and physical challenge (both routes) and I understand the risks associated with it. *
I am informed that participation in the entire briefing session - which will take place on the eve of the day of departure (Saturday, June 6th afternoon) - is mandatory and that my absence will result in disqualification. *
Concerning security, I will use/have all mandatory items: helmet, reflective vest (nights and poor visibility conditions), frontal and rear lights (including a backup kit), emergency blanket. *
I am aware that the organization will assure personal insurance for accidents (expenses for treatment, repatriation, disability and death) during the event (7-12 June, both routes). *
I am aware that the insurance of the event doesn't cover any damage to my bicycle/equipment, as well as damages caused - by my responsibility - on third parties. *
